Nine hospital and health system CIOs who have left their jobs in 2022:
- John Kravitz, the former CIO of Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger, left the health system for software company Workday.
- Atefeh "Atti" Riazi, the former senior vice president and CIO of New York City-based Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, left the health system for the role of CIO at Hearst.
- Cathy French, senior vice president and CIO of Cincinnati-based TriHealth, retired at the end of September.
- CIO Rick McCarthy left White Plans (N.Y.) Hospital for Farmington-based University of Connecticut Health in August.
- Suja Chandrasekaran, the former senior vice president and chief digital and information officer of Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health, left the organization in June.
- John Bosco retired as senior vice president and CIO of New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health in June, according to a spokesperson for the health system.
- Janice Devine retired as senior vice president and CIO of Greensburg, Pa.-based Excela Health in May.
- CIO David Chou left Bellaire, Texas-based Harris Health System for Houston-based Legacy Community Health in May.
- Ryan Smith left his role as CIO of Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare to become COO of digital health platform Graphite Health in April.
