Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive retirements in the last four weeks.
They are listed below, in alphabetical order.
1. Baton Rouge, La.-based Woman's Hospital CEO Teri Fontenot opted for early retirement at the end of March.
2. Coupeville, Wash.-based WhidbeyHealth CEO Geri Forbes is retiring July 1.
3. Larry Goodman, MD, CEO of Chicago-based Rush University System for Health and Rush University Medical Center, plans to retire within the next several months.
4. Kevin Halter, president of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Ky., is retiring April 30.
5. Baton Rouge, La.-based Woman's Hospital Chief Nursing Officer Patricia Johnson is retiring.
6. Suffolk, Va.-based Sentara Obici Hospital President Steve Julian, MD, is retiring in early May after six years in the role.
7. Jay Kreuzer, CEO of Honolulu-based Hawaii Health Systems Corporation's West Hawaii Region and of Kona Community Hospital in Kealakekua, Hawaii, is retiring, effective at the end of the year.
8. David R. Lincoln, president and CEO of Tewksbury, Mass.-based Covenant Health, will retire April 26.
9. Donna Russell-Cook, president of Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, retired.
10. Suffolk, Va.-based Sentara Obici Hospital Nurse Executive Phyllis Stoneburner is retiring in April.
11. St. Louis-based Ascension President and CEO Anthony R. Tersigni, EdD, is retiring Dec. 31, ending a 15-year tenure.
12. David Triebes, CEO of Samaritan Albany (Ore.) General Hospital, plans to retire at the end of June.
13. Robert Williams, president and senior executive at UPMC Susquehanna Sunbury (Pa.), will retire April 1.
