Terry Deak is approaching his seventh full year as CFO of Colusa (Calif.) Regional Medical Center, and he has taken pride in managing the finances of the 48-bed rural hospital that had total gross charges of $61.6 million last year.
"Balancing the responsibilities of serving the healthcare needs of Colusa County with the financial constraints rural hospitals face today will be both interesting as well as challenging," Mr. Deak said when he was hired.
Before joining CRMC, Mr. Deak served as CFO of St. Joseph Health in Eureka, Calif. He also worked as a hospital management consultant for five years after he completed his master's in health services administration.
