CEO Scott Evans: Improving Access to Keck Hospital of USC and USC Norris Cancer Hospital

Scott Evans has been CEO of Keck Hospital of USC and USC Norris Cancer Hospital, both located in Los Angeles, since June. Scott Evans


Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. Evans served as the COO of the two University-owned hospitals since 2007. He began working as a pharmacist at USC in 1999 and in 2004 he joined Keck Hospital of USC (then USC University Hospital) as the director of pharmacy services and residency program director for USC School of Pharmacy – Acute Care Residencies.

In addition to his duties as CEO, Mr. Evans holds an appointment as an associate dean for academic medical center programs in the USC School of Pharmacy.

Mr. Evans holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from the USC School of Pharmacy. He is also a member of the 2012 executive master of health administration graduating class at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy.

Mr. Evans has a record of success at Keck Hospital of USC. He spearheaded efforts to create the Evaluation and Treatment Clinic, which provides patients with 24-hour access to Keck Hospital of USC. He has also led efforts that improved the hospital's operating room efficiency and reduced medication errors.
