Jerry Fedele has served as president and CEO of Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital since October 2008.
Mr. Fedele has 25 years of healthcare experience as a healthcare lawyer and CEO in academic and regional hospital settings. Mr. Fedele's wealth of experience has helped him lead Boca Raton Regional to receive a great deal of awards and recognition, including a 2012 Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence from HealthGrades and recognition on U.S. News & World Report's 2012-2013 Best Hospitals List. Mr. Fedele also led an initiative that resulted in operations improvement of $60 million over 18 months at the hospital.

Prior to joining Boca Raton Regional, Mr. Fedele served as CEO of Pittsburgh-based West Penn Allegheny Health System for three-and-a-half years, ending in June 2007. In addition to Mr. Fedele's healthcare expertise, he has experience in other industries, including engineering, construction and chemical manufacturing.
Mr. Fedele is a former adjunct professor at Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburg, where he earned his law degree. He has lectured frequently on leadership and health law matters at Carnegie Mellon University, The University of Pittsburgh, and Florida Atlantic University

My experience learned from my father and blue collar upbringing has taught me to relate to people at every level of the organization to create partnerships to enthusiastically support the direction of the organization," says Mr. Fedele.
Throughout his career, Mr. Fedele has served on several boards, including The Hospital and Health System Association of Pennsylvania, The University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health and Community College of Allegheny County. Mr. Fedele currently serves as a member of the boards of directors of the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, George Snow Scholarship Fund, VHA Southeast and PGA Allianz Tour Event.
