Nathan Tudor has served as CEO of Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder, La., since December 2012. He previously served as CEO and administrator of Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital in Kenedy, Texas, where he oversaw the 25-bed critical access hospital, its home health agency, a total of 140 employees and gross revenue of $40 million.
During his tenure as CEO at Otto Kaiser Memorial, he has improved the hospital's CMS Core Measure Quality Score Indicators by 30 percent. He has also increased revenue by 200 percent and patient volume by 75 percent by improving relationships with primary care and surgical physicians. In addition, Mr. Tudor has expanded the hospital's service lines with orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, hospitalists and urology. He also implemented a new electronic health record to meet meaningful use requirements.
Prior to joining Otto Kaiser Memorial, Mr. Tudor served as CEO of Stonewall Memorial Hospital in Aspermont, Texas from October 2008 to September 2010. He was instrumental in increasing revenue and patient volume in that position as well. Mr. Tudor has also served as director of hospital support services and physician clinics for Bedford County Regional Medical Center in Shelbyville, Tenn., and special projects coordinator for Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Ark.
In 2011 and 2012, Mr. Tudor was recognized in "Rising Stars: 25 Healthcare Leaders Under Age 40" by Becker's Hospital Review.
