UPMC, Nuance Partner for EMRs

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center is partnering with Nuance Communications to develop an electronic medical record with speech and clinical language understanding-enabled technologies, according to a hospital news release.

The 10-year joint development agreement is designed to make EMR data easier to analyze.
