University of California San Francisco announced the creation of the Center for Digital Health Innovation.
The center will focus on developing new technologies, applications and systems that will generate new data sets. It will also help validate the functionality and accuracy of new digital health devices.
Michael Blum, MD, UCSF's chief medical information officer, will lead the center in the new position of associate vice chancellor for informatics.
