Salt Lake City-based University of Utah Health CIO Donna Roach has been awarded with the 2023 HIMSS John A. Page Distinguished Fellows Service Changemaker award.
The award acknowledges individuals who have made significant and lasting impacts within the health information technology space, according to a Feb. 21 release from Utah Health.
Ms. Roach was honored for her innovative approach to healthcare, which includes her implementation of digital solutions at the health system, which have transformed care delivery for patients and clinicians.
At the University of Utah Health, she is responsible for digital strategy, clinical and business applications, infrastructure, innovation, and security teams for five hospitals and 11 community healthcare centers.
