Salaries for healthcare information technology staffers are low compared with other industries, but employees have a sense of job security, according to an Information Week survey.
Researchers surveyed 1,297 healthcare IT professionals online between November 2012 and January 2013.
While only 18 percent of respondents said they were satisfied with the competitiveness of their compensation, 91 percent said they felt their job was very or somewhat secure.
