San Diego-based Rady Children's Hospital will provide home-based, outpatient physical therapy to patients.
Rady Children's partnered with Luna, a provider of on-demand physical therapy, to extend its outpatient physical therapy offerings with on-demand, home-based services, according to an April 5 press release.
With the Luna platform, patients will be matched to therapists, based on specialty, geography and schedules — allowing them to schedule a physical therapist to visit them at a chosen time and location.
Between visits, patients will also have access to the Luna platform where they can communicate with their physical therapists, perform therapist-prescribed exercises and track their recovery process.
Luna has partnerships with Atlanta-based Emory Health and San Diego-based Scripps Health.
