Greenville, S.C.-based Prisma Health signed a multiyear contract with Phillips to adopt its patient monitoring and enterprise imaging software to improve its health system's interoperability and data analytics efforts.
Prisma Health will have access to the Philips HealthSuite secure cloud platform, which includes real-time patient monitoring, therapeutic devices, telehealth, image management and informatics solutions for radiology and cardiology, advanced visualization and vendor neutral archive. Prisma Health will also have access to Philips enterprise viewer and interoperability solutions, including the Philips capsule medical device information platform, according to an April 28 press release.
Prisma Health will also install Philips enterprise performance analytics — performance bridge, that gives healthcare professionals access to real-time data on departmental performance through an interactive dashboard.
"At Prisma Health, we wanted to engage a partner to help us address data integration and unlock the power of patient data so that we are able to provide our patients with the best care anywhere in our service areas," said Rich Rogers, senior vice president and CIO of Prisma Health. "We want to put the right tools into the hands of our clinicians to allow them to better share information, collaborate and help transform care for the communities we serve."
The partnership aims to improve patient and staff satisfaction, lower costs and improve outcomes.
