Miami-based Jackson Health System is helping police investigate an employee who accessed confidential patient information of 1,800 people, according to a Miami Herald report.
Jackson Health System officials said the employee no longer works for the system anymore, and all affected patients have been alerted of the situation and have been offered free fraud protection.
