NJ Institute of Technology leader to head up NIH strategy on point-of-care technology

Atam Dhawan, the vice provost for research at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, has been tapped to help lead federal strategy for implementing point-of-care technologies.

Mr. Dhawan will work with the National Institutes of Health to focus on integrating point-of-care technologies, such as heart monitors and cancer testing kits, into the healthcare delivery systems, according to the report.
