In regards to health information exchanges, privacy and security, adoption and use and sustainability are the top three greatest concerns for healthcare industry leaders, according to survey results from the National eHealth Collaborative.
A total of 166 respondents completed the NeHC's survey about HIEs. Along with industry leaders' top concerns, results from the survey showed governance, privacy and security and legislative barriers and regulations are the top three issues on which respondents would like to receive regular updates.
Further, privacy and security, funding and sustainability are the top three issues respondents believe could derail HIE efforts.
