Medicare Meaningful Use Incentive Payments for Certain Hospitals Have Topped $124M

In July, 16 hospitals that were registered for both Medicare and Medicaid EHR programs collectively received more than $30 million in Medicare meaningful use incentive payments, according to a CMS July 2011 EHR report.

The total meaningful use Medicare incentive payments for 62 Medicaid/Medicare-registered hospitals is $124.88 million.

In July, one hospital that was registered for Medicare meaningful use received $1.45 million in incentive payments, bringing the year-to-date total for Medicare meaningful use hospitals to $5.07 million for four hospitals.
