Livongo Health, a digital health startup aimed at supporting people with chronic conditions, has appointed Boston Children's CEO Sandra Fenwick to its board of directors.
Ms. Fenwick has served as CEO of Boston Children's Hospital since 2013 and as president since 2008. She first joined the hospital in 1999 as senior vice president.
In addition to Livongo, Ms. Fenwick is a member of several boards of directors, including Harvard's Wyss Institute for Biologically-inspired Engineering, the Massachusetts Digital Health Council and Children's Hospital Association.
"[Ms. Fenwick] has been a true thought leader and champion for advancements in pediatric care and finding new ways to expand access to preventive care including asthma, obesity and mental health," Livongo Founder and Executive Chairman Glen Tullman said in a news release emailed to Becker's Hospital Review. "…Livongo will leverage her deep experience and commitment as we continue to grow our board of directors."
