Highmark plans to partner with Pittsburgh-based West Penn Allegheny Health System, Allscripts and Accenture to help independent physicians meet meaningful use requirements, according to a Highmark news release.
Allscripts, which provides electronic health records, and Accenture, a management consulting and technology services firm, will work with Highmark and WPAHS to provide independent physicians with EHRs, electronic prescribing and practice management tool options.
