HHS is accepting applications for its Opioid Code-a-Thon, which asks teams to develop a technological solution to address opioid treatment, usage or misuse prevention.
Computer programmers, public health experts and data scientists are encouraged to create teams focused on developing innovative solutions that harness available data on the opioid epidemic to drive positive outcomes. Winning solutions will take into account user-centered design principles as well as a potential for scale or broader application in public health.
The event will take place Dec. 6-7 at HHS headquarters in Washington, D.C.
