Hackensack (N.J.) Meridian Health has partnered with Microsoft to use the company's cloud computing platform Azure, NJBIZ reports.
Under the agreement, Hackensack will use Azure to advance its hybrid-cloud strategy. A hybrid cloud involves using a public-private cloud to enable organizations to securely scale their resources.
"We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Microsoft today, which will further strengthen our culture of innovation," Hackensack CEO Robert Garrett told NJBIZ. "Microsoft Azure will ensure our growing network and dedicated team members have the flexibility, efficiency and security they need to focus on what we do best: providing high-quality care to our patients."
