The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology has introduced electronic health record certification programs in obstetrics, oncology and clinical research, the latest clinical domains to be added to the commission's independently-developed ambulatory EHR programs, according to a CCHIT news release.
Criteria and test scripts for the news programs are available on the CCHIT website. CCHIT also offers special EHR certification programs for cardiovascular medicine, child health, emergency departments, behavioral health, dermatology and long-term and post-acute care.
