Applied Statistics & Management has released its blockchain platform Checksome to improve the credentialing process, according to an Oct. 19 news release.
Checksome contains nearly 2 million primary source verifications that are encrypted and secured by the blockchain. The goal is to reduce credentialing processing time while also providing proactive notifications for licensure changes.
Traditionally, the credentialing process can be cumbersome, as organizations need to independently verify each practitioner's licenses and credentials. Through Checksome, organizations will have access to a single, secure data repository.
Checksome is available free of charge to all MD-Staff customers. MD-Staff is a cloud-based, artificial intelligence-enabled credentialing software solution.
