5 Things to Know About the DELTA Powered Analytics Maturity Model

In November, HIMSS Analytics and the International Institute for Analytics launched the first healthcare industry benchmarking system to assess providers' analytics competency and maturity relative to their peers.

Here are five things to know about the DELTA Powered Analytics Maturity Model:

$1·      The assessment uses the industry-neutral DELTA Model framework described in "Analytics at Work" by IIA cofounder Thomas Davenport and IIA faculty members Robert Morison and Jeanne Harris.

$1·      The DELTA model measures maturity across five critical analytic competencies: Data, Enterprise approach, Leadership, Targets and Analysts.

$1·      The initial assessment is conducted through a 15-20 minute online survey completed by 25 or more members of an organization.

$1·      Results from the initial assessment will show how an organization's analytics capabilities compare to peer organizations, as well as show perception gaps among different stakeholders within the organization.

$1·      DELTA Powered Certification will be assigned at the following levels, from least to most mature: Beginner, Localized, Aspiring, Capable and Leader.

More information about the initial assessment can be found here.
