Shares of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare closed Dec. 4 at $33.74, their highest closing price in the past year, according to Yahoo Finance.
The hospital chain's shares traded between $33.18 and $33.84 on Dec. 4 and were up 2 percent from the day prior at market close. Shares were trading above $34.00 on the morning of Dec. 5.
Tenet reported a net loss of $233 million on revenues of $4.6 billion in the third quarter of this year. That's compared to the third quarter of 2018, when the company reported a net loss of $9 million on revenues of $4.5 billion.
