Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has revised Portland, Maine-based MaineHealth's outlook to stable from negative.
"The revision to stable reflects MaineHealth's better-than-anticipated financial performance in 2014 and 2015 coupled with its strong enterprise profile," said S&P credit analyst Cynthia Keller. "We expect MaineHealth's increasingly centralized operations and local consolidation efforts will stabilize, and perhaps improve, future financial performance."
S&P also affirmed the "A+" rating on MaineHealth's series 2014 revenue bonds, affecting $85 million.
