Peak Health Solutions, a national provider of mid-revenue cycle solutions, has named Mary S. Bessinger vice president of health information management operations.
Here are four things to know about Ms. Bessinger.
1. She has more than three decades of healthcare experience, with a focus on revenue cycle management and health information management operations.
2. Previously, she was in senior leadership roles at LHP Hospital Group, Parallon Business Consulting Group/HCA, Quadramed Corp., McKesson Provider Technologies and SoftMed Systems.
3. According to a news release, in her new role, Ms. Bessinger will do the following:
- Lead production coding and consulting service line growth
- Develop and implement processes for enhanced operational efficiencies
- Strengthen service delivery
4. "Mary is an accomplished HIM executive with an impressive track record of leading consulting, production coding and international coding solutions," John E. Morris, CEO of Peak, said in a prepared statement. "As we continue to grow and expand our client base and solutions offerings, Mary will be instrumental in ensuring our client's consistently receive high-quality, lower-cost services while also leading our operations team in building a robust and scalable operating platform."
