Moody's Investors Service has affirmed Middleburg Heights, Ohio-based Southwest General Health Center's "A2" bond rating.
The rating affirmation was supported by a number of factors, including the hospital's leading market share in its primary service area and the strategic and operating benefits it derives from its partnership agreement and clinical affiliation with Cleveland-based University Hospitals Health System.
The hospital also faces some challenges, which were considered for the rating affirmation, such as being located in a highly competitive area.
SGHC's outlook is currently stable, which reflects Moody's expectation that the hospital's "current project will be completed within budget and position the organization at least to maintain its leading market position, operating margins and liquidity will remain strong, and no material new debt is issued over the next two years."
