Greenville Hospital in South Carolina to Raise Prices, Add 120 Jobs

Greenville (S.C.) Hospital System has approved a new financial budget that calls for 120 new full-time positions as well as increased prices for healthcare services, according to a WYFF report.

Half of the new positions will be comprised of physicians or staff members specializing in urology, general surgery, ENT, neurosurgery, plastic surgery and pain management, according to the report.

Patients will also see a 4.7 percent increase in hospital prices. Hospital officials said the price hikes are necessary in the face of declining Medicaid reimbursements.
