Youngstown, Ohio-based Forum Health could owe $29.5 million in professional service fees in connection to the health system's bankruptcy, according to a report by The Vindicator.
The health system, which was purchased by Community Health Services in Oct. 2010 has since been renamed ValleyCare Health System of Ohio and converted to a for-profit, would be on the hook for the service fees if they are approved by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kay Woods. Judge Woods is set to rule on the appropriateness of the fees on Oct. 25.
