ValleyCare Health System, based in Youngstown, Ohio, has announced 90 additional layoffs, according to a Business Journal report.
ValleyCare Health System, which is operated by Community Health Systems in Franklin, Tenn., is comprised of Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren and Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in Hillside. The 90 layoffs will affect all three hospitals and will include both nonclinical and clinical positions, according to the report.
This marks a second round of layoffs after CHS announced 81 layoffs for ValleyCare hospitals in February.
