AdvancedMD, a provider of cloud-based project management, EHR and revenue cycle management solutions for independent physician practices, has launched new solutions aimed at allowing obstetrics and gynecology practices to improve patient satisfaction and engagement while enhancing revenues.
The solutions include AdvancedPatient, the company's patient engagement suite, and new AdvancedTelemedicine platform.
Here are four things to know about the solutions.
1. AdvancedPatient will allow front desk personnel to auto-assign intake, consent, history and demographics forms as part of the scheduling process, officials said. Through one checkbox, practices are able to send patient appointment reminders via email or text.
2. Additionally, the AdvancedPatient front office iOS app features a redesigned user interface, according to a news release. Forms can be auto-assigned within the app to mirror the desktop functionality, and two weeks of historic appointments are accessible at a single look.
3. AdvancedTelemedicine allows providers to make follow-up care visits to discuss lab results or medications; additionally, practices can collect for patient phone follow-up conversations, officials said. Postpartum depression, hypertension and similar conditions can also be addressed via remote visits.
4. AdvancedTelemedicine is integrated within AdvancedMD's EHR, medical scheduling and medical billing, with the goal of streamlining the patient workflow and financial outcomes, officials said.
