Alliance, Neb.-based Box Butte General Hospital went live with its new Meditech EHR system on May 1, Alliance-Times Herald reported May 17.
Jim Bargen, chief operating officer of the hospital, said employees are working to register patients who have appointments in the first week of the system's operation.
In addition, Box Butte is working on a smooth transition with the new system and is aiming to reduce check-in wait times.
