The Centre for Neuro Skills, a Bakersfield, Calif.-based brain injury rehabilitation center, has launched Meditech Expanse as its EHR.
CNS has seven locations across California and Texas. The cloud-based EHR system will allow CNS clinicians to view patient records on mobile devices, according to an April 26 CNS news release.
"CNS is continually investing in our technology to advance our legacy of excellence built on an integrated multidisciplinary approach. That approach encompasses the physical, behavioral, cognitive, psychosocial and self-care aspect of life post-injury therapeutic programs that treat the whole person," Michael McCracken, chief technology officer of Centre for Neuro Skills, said in the release. "We are delighted to have successfully implemented Meditech Expanse. It provides our care teams the latest tools to help improve delivery of rehabilitative therapies and patient outcomes."
