Bowling Green, Ky.-based Fairview Community Health Center selected eClinicalWorks Cloud as its new EHR vendor.
EClinicalWorks Cloud has a national cloud infrastructure based on Microsoft Azure. The EHR's cloud offering allows for backup and works as an alternative to a data center in case of a data center outage, according to a March 30 eClinicalWorks news release.
"To continue growing our practice, we needed a solution to meet our unique needs as a federally qualified health center," Executive Director and CEO John Lillybridge said in the release. "The eClinicalWorks Cloud allows us to reduce costs, scale our operations as we see fit, and access patient data securely. Additionally, eClinicalWorks provides a unified solution for health centers, offering behavioral health, OBGYN, vision, and dental in one solution."
