Seneca Healthcare District, based in Chester, Calif., implemented its new EHR system from Cerner on June 5, replacing its outdated system.
The Cerner system, dubbed CommunityWorks, allows the health system to access patient records more easily, as well as allows its clinicians to share patient records to and from out-of-network providers, according to a June 5 new release from Seneca.
Alongside a new EHR system, Seneca will also have a new patient portal, "MySeneca." The new portal allows patients to access their lab results, view recent physician visits and allows them to directly message their providers.
