Health systems looking to reduce administrative burden and improve patient care are opting to upgrade and install new EHR systems. Here are four EHR upgrades Becker's has reported on since Oct. 20:
- Cody (Wyo.) Regional Health faced some workflow issues during a mostly smooth Epic EHR installation.
- Baton Rouge, La.-based Lake Regional Medical Center and Zachary, La.-based Lane Regional Medical center entered into an agreement to share an Epic EHR system.
- Akron, Ohio-based Summa Health partnered with IT consultant company Brightwork Health to implement a new Epic EHR system.
- Ann Arbor-based Michigan Medicine finished upgrading its EHR system.
