Amazon Web Services has a listing for "Senior Solutions Architect, Healthcare, Nonprofit Health, Nonprofit Healthcare" seeking an individual with a passion for helping nonprofit healthcare providers implement cloud computing solutions. Responsibilities include owning success of implementation projects, developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and becoming a security subject matter expert for customers.
The basic qualifications for this role include eight-plus years of specific technology domain experience and 10-plus years of IT development or implementation and consulting. Preferred qualifications include 10-plus years of experience with EHR applications, including Epic, Cerner and Meditech. The knowledge of EHR architecture is "highly desired," according to the listing.
Salary for the position ranges from $122,900 per year to $239,000 per year, and is based on location, experience and related knowledge.
AWS is also hiring for an account executive focused on nonprofit healthcare and global nonprofit healthcare. The company is searching for a "proven business executive in the NP healthcare sector to lead and continue to expand the business with some of our most important healthcare customers and develop new customers across a targeted greenfield market."
The nonprofit healthcare account executive will be accountable for business leadership and creative direction of the company's strategy in the sector, and aim to expand adoption of technologies and capabilities within Amazon's "most important healthcare customers."
Amazon wants to deepen relationships with customers from the C-suite and board members. Qualifications include five-plus years of healthcare knowledge and relationships with health system C-suite executives and five years of leading business development and direct sales. This role also calls for knowledge in innovative technology and data analytics in the healthcare space, as well as a "solid understanding" of legacy and emerging healthcare technologies.
