Madison, Wis.-based UW Health has changed the name of its Rockford, Ill.-based clinic, Riverwest Clinic, to UW Health Marchesano Drive Clinic, Rock River Current reported Jan. 27.
The name change comes as the health system aims to create consistency across its facility names.
In addition, new signage has already been installed at the clinic, with additional clinic name changes coming to other facilities throughout 2023, according to the report.
The rebranding efforts initially began in September 2021 with Rockford, Ill.-based SwedishAmerican Hospital being renamed to UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital.
