The University of Maryland Medical System produced a brand campaign to air during the 2024 Summer Olympics for the local audience watching on Peacock.
The campaign is titled "A Better State of Care" and includes a 30-second commercial focused on "A Better State of Care for Every Athlete and Every Fan." NBC Peacock is airing the commercial throughout the Olympics and is featuring UMMS during on-air promotions streaming on Peacock.
UMMS is also sponsoring two Maryland Olympinas: swimmers Katie Ledecky and Chase Kalisz.
"The Olympics, symbolized by the five interconnected rings that serve as its logo, are about bringing people from around the world together and breaking down the walls and barriers that divide us in the spirit of unity and inclusiveness," said Mohan Suntha, MD, president and CEO of UMMS. "At UMMS, our vision of the five Olympic rings are our five core values: compassion, discovery, excellence, diversity and integrity. These form the foundation of our culture, of who we want to be, and what we stand for."
UMMS will run the "Better State of Care" campaign through September through local media outlets.
