Five hospitals and health systems that have announced name changes or other rebranding efforts since Aug. 2:
- Olathe, Kan.-based children's mental health system KVS Hospitals is changing its name to Camber Children's Mental Health. The name change comes as the system looks to expand its services throughout Kansas.
- Wenatchee, Wash.-based Central Washington Hospital is changing its name to Confluence Health Hospital Central Campus. The name reflects the unification under a single license with Confluence Health Hospital Mares Campus.
- Wenatchee, Wash.-based Wenatchee Valley Hospital is changing its name to Confluence Health Hospital Mares Campus. The name reflects the unification under a single license with Confluence Health Hospital Central Campus.
- New York City-based NYC Health + Hospitals launched a new website due to the uptick in web traffic caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Des Moines, Iowa-based MercyOne Children's Hospital is renaming its neonatal intensive care unit the William and Josephine Norkaitis NICU after a $1 million donation from the Norkaitis family.
