Samsung launched its Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 product line with a focus on the wearable health features of the watches, according to reporting in The Business Standard.
The Galaxy Watch5 includes a chip that can read heart rate, blood oxygen level and stress level. Blood pressure monitoring and electrocardiogram readings will be features available in select countries, according to the Standard.
Both watches will be available to the general public Aug. 26.
"We are dedicated to giving our Galaxy Watch community the tools, data and resources needed to not only understand their overall health and wellness better, but to coach them on their journey," President and Head of Mobile Business Experience Tae Moon Roh said.
