Memorial Hermann taps new virtual care partner

Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System is partnering with Midi Health, a virtual care company for women navigating hormonal transition, to deliver virtual care to women in perimenopause and menopause.

Patients will be able to access Midi's digital health options by getting a referral through Memorial Hermann clinicians. After getting a referral, the patient will receive a personalized care plan and undergo a virtual visit. Patients can return to Memorial Hermann for in-person care, such as screenings, if needed, according to an Oct. 18 Midi Health news release.

The news comes after Midi closed on a $25 million series A funding round, led by GV, in September 2023.

"With today marking World Menopause Day, it was the perfect occasion to unveil this collaboration as an innovative way to provide our patients experiencing midlife hormonal conditions with specialized care developed by experts in perimenopause and menopause," Victoria Regan, MD, vice president of the women's and children's service line at Memorial Hermann, said in the news release. "With Midi Health, women now have an integrated solution to meet their full health care needs, in collaboration with their affiliated providers here at Memorial Hermann."
