Medtech company Medtronic has partnered with remote patient monitoring company BioIntelliSense to have the distribution rights of the BioButton across the U.S.
The BioButton is a remote monitoring device that can take up to 1,440 vital sign measurements per day. Combining the BioButton with advanced analytics allows clinicians to detect signs of patient deterioration, according to an Aug. 31 Medtronic news release.
