Baltimore-based LifeBridge Health has launched a mobile app for patients.
The app allows patients to schedule an appointment, view test results, pay bills and request prescriptions. It also can direct patients to care based on their answers to prompts and on the time of day, according to an Aug. 25 news release provided to Becker's.
"Consumers want to be able to use their phones to connect digitally and our app lowers the barriers to access care and services," Scott Savage, director of digital consumer experience at LifeBridge, said in the release. "It's much more convenient to download and install a mobile app to book an appointment or look at labs than it is to remember the website URL and your doctor's name and office location. It's all right there in their pocket."
