Homeward, a San Francisco-based startup that launched in March with the goal of increasing healthcare access to rural communities, received $50 million in series B funding.
Homeward touts an integrated care approach. Members can see clinicians in mobile clinics, virtually or in their homes, according to an Aug. 3 press release.
In addition to the fundraising, Homeward is partnering with insurer Priority Health to deliver care to Medicare Advantage patients in rural Michigan.
Arch Venture Partners and Human Capital led the fundraising round. Homeward plans to use the money for expansion, the release said.
