Employee assistance company Empathia is partnering with Togetherall to provide virtual mental health services to Empathia members.
Togetherall's platform allows for peers to share stories about their experiences with mental illness under clinician supervision. The company's model supports 20 million people, according to the Oct. 12 Empathia news release.
"Togetherall is passionate about the role that peer-to-peer support plays in mental health, ensuring that individuals and whole populations can connect safely with the resource that's right for them," Togetherall President Matthew McEvoy said. "Every day we see the power of people helping each other by sharing their thoughts, feelings, stories and encouragement. We are looking forward to extending our 24/7 service to Empathia and their broad portfolio of clients, integrating into their core offerings to provide appropriate pathways and a seamless member experience."
