Apple is working to improve patient adherence through its latest iOS 16 update that will include medication reminders, according to Sept. 10 reporting in The Wall Street Journal.
The tools will be available in Apple's Health app on Sept. 12. The app allows users to create a list of medications and schedules by scanning the bottle or using a search function.
The medication reminders can be shared with care providers or family members. Users will need an iPhone 8 or higher to have access to this feature.
