A new study from pCare, a patient engagement technology company, showed that 95 percent of health system leaders said adopting digital engagement tools improved the patient experience.
The study also showed that 65 percent of health system leaders said their patients' demand for technology in healthcare has increased, while 42 percent said there were gaps between their capabilities and patients' expectations for digital communication, according to a July 26 press release.
The study was commissioned by pCare and conducted by World Business Research. WBR surveyed 100 health system leaders for the study.
