A survey of 1,004 American adults from digital health company Kilo Health found that 82 percent of Americans have tried health advice they found online.
Additionally, the survey found that 93 percent of Americans had searched for health information online. In 2009, CDC data found that 61 percent of Americans had looked up health information online, according to an April 5 Kilo Health news release.
In most cases, Americans averaged searches of three health topics.
