Google Cloud launched an artificial intelligence and analytics program targeted toward nonprofits — dubbed the "Data Solutions for Change" program — July 25.
Today, many nonprofits collect data related to their social or environmental visions at an unprecedented scale, according to Google Cloud. However, they may not have the financial or technical resources to reach analytics tools that would help them draw out insights to support their missions.
Under the Data Solutions for Change program, nonprofit organizations can apply for need-based Google Cloud credit grants and various training resources, as well as access to various Google Cloud tools.
Foundation for Precision Medicine, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about precision medicine, is one participant in the Data Solutions for Change program.
The organization partnered with Google Cloud to use the company's analytics data warehouse BigQuery, interactive data insights tool Cloud Datalab and data visualization solution Google Data Studio to support its research into early detection of Alzheimer's disease.
